Lebanon, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Golf team sits eighth on the leaderboard, following Round One at the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional. The Spartans carded a team score of 305 (+17) at the Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Junior Donte Groppuso (69/-3) led the team for the day and currently sits in first place among individual golfers. His spectacular play helped the Spartans keep pace with the region's best teams, just eight strokes behind current leader Adelphi (297/+9) Teammates Djaia Darrason 78/+6 (T47), Nolan Skaggs 79/+7 (T61), Juan Ignacio Simon 79/+7 (T61) and Tanner Little 82/+10 (T86) rounded out the Spartans scoring.
STAC will tee off at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 12th, with the tournament scheduled to conclude on Saturday, May 13.
