Erie, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Golf team currently sits in eighth place on the leaderboard, following Round One at the NCAA East/Atlantic Super Regional. The Spartans carded a team score of 307 (+19) at the Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie, Pa.
Senior Nolan Skaggs (70/-2) led the team for the day and is currently second among individual golfers. His spectacular play helped the Spartans keep pace with the region's best teams. Teammates Djaia Darrason 78/+6 (T46), Tanner Little 79/+7 (T52), Diego Ocasio 80/+8 (T64) and Albin Faelt 81/+9 (T71) rounded out the Spartans' scoring.
STAC will tee off at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 9th, with the tournament scheduled to conclude on Saturday, May 10.
