The St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball team lost at Southern Connecticut, 78-57.  Justin Brown scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.  Jamie Blanchard and Irin Stark had 13 and 12 points respectively. 

The Owls opened the game on an 11-0 run and continued on to 27-9 advantage with 8:57 left in the half.  Stark along with Daniel Skinner each had 5 points in the first half as STAC went into the break down, 37-23.  Skinner finished with 7 points, 5 steals and 3 assists.  The Owl's Trevor Hamlet finished with 22 points on 10-12 shooting from the floor.  Southern outrebounded STAC 51-24 in the win.

The Spartans will return to action on Janurary 5th when they host C.W. Post at 7:30 PM.
