The St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball team lost to Bridgeport, 80-53.  Justin Brown and Daniel Skinner each had 10 points for STAC.  Brown grabbed 7 rebounds for STAC.  Jamie Blanchard and Nick Lopez each added 8 points for the Spartans.

Bridgeport opened the game on a 17-4 run.  The Spartans struggled from the floor shooting 31% in the first half.  Skinner went 3-3 in the first half to lead STAC with 6 points as Bridgeport took a 41-13 lead into the break.

The Spartans had a stronger second half shooting 13-28 from the floor.  STAC received 7 points from Omar Kellman and Irin Stark; all in the second half.   Both team were even on the boards.  

The Spartans will return to action on Wednesday when they host Queens College at 7:30 PM.
