The St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball team lost to C.W. Post, 71-49.  Nick Lopez and Justin Brown each had 9 points for STAC while Jamie Blanchard had 8 points and 7 rebounds.  Daniel Skinner chipped in 8 points and dished out 3 assists.  Jason Halloway added 7 points for STAC.

The Pioneers opened the game with a 7-0 run before the Lopez drained a 3-pointer to put STAC on the scoreboard.  Lopez led the Spartans with 8 points at the break including 2-3 from behind the arc. 

Stefan Bonneau led the Pioneers with 17 points and 8 rebounds.  C.W. Post controlled the boards, 38-31. 

The Spartans will return to action on Saturday when they face Bridgeport at 3:00.
