St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball player Sean James was named the ECC Rookie of the Week.  James had 18 points in the Spartans 85-73 win over Roberts Wesleyan. The freshmen hit 3-of-7 from behind the arc and also grabbed one rebound and dished out one assist.
