St. Thomas Aquinas freshmen Chaz Watler has been named East
Coast Conference Rookie of the Week. Walter averaged 17
points and 7.5 rebounds for the week. The freshmen had 20
points on the road in STAC's win at UDC and contributed with 14
points in a win against Mercy. Watler also dished out
six assists and had two steals in the victories.
Marcus Henderson was an honorable mention for the week after
averaging 17.5 points, and five assists including a 24
point performance against Mercy. The point grab grabbed nine
boards and had four steals in the wins.
