St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball player Justin Reyes was selected to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-East Region First Team.  

There was no sophomore slump for Reyes after winning the conference's Rookie of the Year honor in 2014-15, as his 2015-16 season saw him earn the ECC Player of the Year honor. Reyes was a double-double machine for St. Thomas Aquinas, scoring 17.4 points per game and pulling down 10.3 rebounds per game. He also led the ECC with a 61.2 field goal percentage and ranked in the top five with 56 steals and 44 blocks.

Reyes broke single season records for the Spartans in field goal percentage, total rebounds and rebound average.  The sophomores performance helped guide the Spartans to a 27-5 record, their first ECC Championship, their first trip to the NCAA tournament and their first NCAA tournament win.
