The St. Thomas Aquinas College men's basketball team has earned the #6 seed and will face #3 Southern Connecticut at Holy Family University on Saturday, March 12 (time TBD).

With their 80-63 victory over Daemen on Saturday, the Spartans have clinched their first ever berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Eight teams from the East have earned selection to the 64-team National Tournament.

CACC Champ Holy Family University has earned the #1 seed and will host the East Regional, meeting #8 seed and NE-10 Tourney Champs Southern New Hampshire University in the first round. A pair of NE-10 schools will square off when #4 Stonehill meets #5 Bentley, while #2 St. Anselm's takes on #7 Philadelphia University.

Automatic Qualifiers are awarded to the champs of the ECC, Northeast-10, and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. Automatic Qualifiers are as follows:

ECC - St. Thomas Aquinas College

NE-10 - Southern New Hampshire University

CACC - Holy Family University
