The Match-Up - After yesterday's stirring 92-20 victory over #3 seeded Southern Connecticut, St. Thomas Aquinas will face the challenge of #2 St. Anselm's College, which defeated #7 Philadelphia Unversity by an 83-71 count yesterday afternoon. The other pairing sees #4 Stonehill (which topped Bentley last night), take on Southern New Hampshire, which became the first #8 seed to beat a #1 with yesterday's victory over host Holy Family.

The Spartans have now won 21 straight games and sport a 27-4 overall mark, while St. A's comes in at an impressive 22-7, playing in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Prior Meetings - St. Anselm's visited Aquinas Hall as part of the Spartan Invitational way back on November 15, 2015, and the Hawks had their way in an 82-59 decision. Mike McCahey was dominant for the Hawks with a game-high 32 points, with freshman Tim Guers adding 15.

What's at Stake? - The victors in tonight's semi-finals square off Tuesday night at 7:00 pm for the East Regional Championship. Each of the regional champs will advance to the Elite Eight, which will take place in Frisco, Texas, from March 23-26.

Players to Watch - Michael McCahey has paced a powerful Hawks team - which spent much of the season as the region's highest-ranked squad - with 18.3 points per game. He is one of five St. Anselm players averaging double-figures, joining Harrison Taggart (15.8), Victor Joshua (15.0), Tim Guers (11.2), and Chris Braley, (11.2). Amazingly, each of the five has started all 29 Hawks games this season except Braley, who missed three.

#2 St. Anselm's 83, #7 Philadelphia 71
