St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball player Osbel Caraballo has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-District First Team for the East Region.
Caraballo helped lead the Spartans to their fourth East Coast Conference Tournament Championship in the last five seasons, and their fifth consecutive NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament berth. Osbel averaged 17.5 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game, while racking up 5 double-doubles in 30 contests during 2019-2020. In recognition of his superb season, he was also named an ECC All-Conference First Team selection.
Caraballo is also a nominee for All-Met honors, with those distinctions to be determined in the coming weeks.
