Spartans #20 in First NABC Men's Basketball National Poll of 2019-2020 Regular Season

In the midst of an early season four-game win streak, the undefeated St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Basketball team has been ranked #20 overall in all of Division II Men's Basketball according to the first national poll released on Tuesday afternoon by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The 4-0 Spartans are currently being led by Demetre Roberts (Sophomore/Guard/Mount Vernon, NY) - averaging 15.5 points per game & 4.8 assists per game,  Sekou Cisse (Senior/Guard & Forward/Harlem, NY) - averaging 14.8 points per game & 7.7 rebounds per game and Osbel Caraballo (Sophomore/Forward/Bolivar, Venezuela) - averaging 13.3 points per game & 6.3 rebounds per game.

The team's offense currently averages 77.8 points scored per game, while their defense surrenders an average of only 65.3 points per game.

St. Thomas Aquinas will finally play their Home Opener at Aquinas Hall this Wednesday, November 20, in a 7:00 pm tip. The game is the first of three straight with potentially major impact in the East, as STAC follows with a trip to Jefferson University on Saturday, November 23 at 1:00 pm before returning home for a showdown with Dominican College on Monday, November 25 at 7:00 pm.
