St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey Goaltender Carl Lorenz was named the MCHC Defensive Player of the Month, following the Spartans 4-2 October, which includes a 3-1 record in league play.
As per MCHC statistics, Lorenz went 3-0 and had 172 saves between the pipes for STAC, in four conference games played. He recorded a 4.49 goals against average and a .915 save percentage during this time period.
STAC wraps up their three-game road trip when they travel to Danbury, CT to face off with Western Connecticut State University on Sunday, November 3rd at 2:30pm.
