Monsey, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team closed its 2022-23 Regular Season schedule, falling to Stevens Institute of Technology, 9-6, on Saturday evening at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks.
Prior to the contest between the Spartans and Ducks, STAC honored its graduating senior class; Carter Taylor and Sean Kunz with on-ice ceremonies, which included the athletes' families, teammates, coaches and college administrators.
Once the puck was dropped, Jeremy Poggi tallied two goals, while Greg Drefko, Carter Taylor, Daniel McKeon and Devin Niccoll chipped in a goal apiece. John Rosabella (1-5) stopped 19 of 27 shots faced in two periods of action, while Michael Pippo turned aside all 12 shots faced in the third period.
