Queens, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team suffered its first regulation defeat since late September on Friday evening, falling to SUNY Maritime College 4-2 at World Ice Arena.
STAC sees its win-streak halted at five games and falls to 8-2-1 overall (6-1-1 MCHC).
Jason Desalvo and Jeremy Poggi tallied a goal apiece for the Spartans on the evening, while Theo Morris (L, 1-1) stopped 41 of 44 shots faced in only his second start of the year.
