Monsey, N.Y. - 14 different Spartans recorded a point on Friday evening, as the St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team rolled to a 9-1 victory over New Jersey Institute of Technology at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks.
Jason Desalvo and Noah Barr tallied two goals apiece, while Daniel McKeon, Jeremy Poggi, Nicholas Delia, Matthew Golon and Andrew Fenninger each picked up a goal in the MCHC contest. Michael Pippo (W, 4-1-1) had to make just nine saves in a little over 28 and a half minutes of action to earn his fourth win of the season in six starts. Vito Maniscalco replaced Pippo for the final 31 plus minutes and stopped 11 of 12 shots faced.
