Monsey, N.Y. - A Jeremy Poggi hat-trick helped the St. Thomas Aquinas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team complete the weekend sweep of home contests, with a 7-4 victory over SUNY Maritime College on Sunday at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks.
Poggi also added an assist for a four-point game, while Illia Solodzhuk, Nicholas Delia, Jason Desalvo and Noah Barr also added goals to the maroon and gold totals. Michael Pippo (W, 2-1) got his third straight start between the pipes for the Spartans and stopped 54 of 58 shots faced to earn his second consecutive win.
