Monsey, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team had an offensive explosion on Friday night, as eight different Spartans would tally goals in an 11-4 victory over Yale University at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks.
Nicholas Delia, Jeremy Poggi and Noah Barr each scored twice on the evening, while Daniel McKeon, Matthew Golon, Andrew Fenninger, Devin Niccoll and Jason Desalvo picked up a goal apiece for the maroon and gold.
In between the pipes, Michael Pippo (5-1-1) stopped 21 of 25 shots faced to earn his fifth win of the season in seven starts.
