Senatore's Late Fourth Quarter Goal Propels Men's Lacrosse to 9-8 Victory at Post University

A Tyler Senatore fourth quarter tally with 3:11 remaining in the contest, gave the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Lacrosse team an exciting 9-8 victory at Post University on Saturday afternoon.

On the day, Senatore picked up five goals, while Anthony Irizarry scored twice and assisted on another goal. Timothy Zimnoch (1 goal & 2 assists) and Luke Broderick (1 goal) also contributed to Spartan scoring, while Ryan Guild made 11 stops to even his season record at 2-2.

For the Post University, Brendan Kelleher and Ryan Baker tallied two goals apiece, while Mark Colella, Nick Meier, Quaran Langston and Nicholas Steel also scored a goal each for the Eagles. Manuele D'Alessio (L, 0-3) stopped 13 of 22 shots faced.

Shots for the game were 41 (22 on goal) for the Spartans and 30 (19 on goal) for the Eagles.

St. Thomas Aquinas College (2-2) returns home to face Georgian Court University on Monday, March 2nd. Opening faceoff at Spartan Field is scheduled for 3:30pm.
