St. Thomas Aquinas College's Vinny Rosario has been named the ECC Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans thrilling 12-11 overtime victory over Post University in the team's 2025 home opener last week.
Rosario (Ridge, N.Y.) racked up eight ground balls and won 16-of-24 face-off attempts (67.0 percent) for the maroon and gold in the extra session triumph over the Eagles at Spartan Field.
STAC (2-2) hosts Roberts Wesleyan University on Saturday, March 22 for a 3:00 p.m. conference tilt at Spartan Field in Sparkill.
