St. Thomas Aquinas College's Christian Rodriguez has been named the ECC Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 1-1 week against Bridgeport (L, 17-8) and Virginia State (W, 16-7).
Rodriguez (Miami, Fla.) dropped 10 points on a goal and nine assists in STAC's matches against the Purple Knights and Trojans. The freshman midfielder also recorded 12 shots (10 on goal), eight ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
STAC (3-7, 0-3 ECC) visits Molloy University on Wednesday, April 16 for an ECC matchup at the RVC Sports Complex on Long Island. Opening faceoff between the Spartans and Lions is set for 7:00 p.m.
