Washington, D.C. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Lacrosse team saved their offensive explosion for the final game of the 2025 season, scoring early and often in a 30-10 rout of the University of the District of Columbia on Saturday afternoon at the Dr. Edwin Bancroft Henderson Sports Complex in our nation's capital.
STAC closes out its year with a 4-10 overall record and a 1-5 ECC mark. Meanwhile, UDC heads to the offseason at 0-12 and 0-6.
Austin Maybee led the STAC's offense with nine goals and an assist on the afternoon, while Lucas Mullen and Christian Rodriguez struck for a four goals and two assists each and Nicola Greer tallied four goals and added a helper. Cam Wallace (3 goals), Max Benoit (1 goal, 3 assists), Wilson Ingalls (1 goal, 2 assists), Frank Schaefer (1 goal, 1 assist), Jeremy Schucker (1 goal, 1 assist), Ben Eckert (1 goal) and John Pena (1 goal) also contributed to the Spartans totals. Craig Peavy (W, 1-2) got the start in between the pipes for St. Thomas Aquinas and stopped 18 of 28 shots faced to earn his first win of the season.
On the other side of the field, UDC was led by Julian Schemm, who tallied three goals and added three helpers, while Maxwell Hansberry also scored three goals. Dylan Donaldson (2 goals, 1 assist), Jordan Schemm (1 goal) and Gabreleul Yacob (1 goal) added to the totals on the scoreboard for the Firebirds. Goalie Israel Amajioyi (L, 0-12) made 16 stops on 46 shots fired in his direction.
