STAC Loses 2-0 at Dowling

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 game at Dowling yesterday afternoon.  The Golden Lions scored their first goal off a penalty kick twenty minutes into the game.  STAC played them tough throughout the majority of the game as they had equal shots and one more save than Dowling.  James Earl had three shots for STAC.

Stefan Draskovic scored the penalty kick goal and Lamine Traore added the second goal at the 75:28 minute mark off a short pass from Steven Schneider.  Nicolas Croce had four saves for STAC who will play their final game on Saturday as they host Chestnut Hill at 2:00 PM.  The Spartans will honor their three seniors; Jon Michael Nabais, Michael Felix and Jesse Trajkovski in a pre-game ceremony.
