The St. Thomas Aquinas men's soccer team continued to keep their win streak alive with a 2-1 victory over Molloy College.  Daniel Davren and Renan Lopes scored for the Spartans in the East Coast Conference opener.  Sophomore Nicholas Croce had five saves as he picked up his fourth win of the season and first conference win.

Davren scored off his long throw in that hit a defender and went into the net at the 25:59 minute mark.  The Spartans held a 1-0 lead into the second half until John-Paul Hughes scored for Molloy off a cleared corner kick into the top left corner of the goal with just over eight minutes remaining in the game.  The Spartans retaliated with the game winning goal at 88:27 as Lopes scored off a direct kick from 28-yards out. 

The Spartans are now 4-4-1 and 1-0 in the East Coast Conference.  STAC will return to action as the host Bridgeport on Tuesday, October, 6th.  The game will be played at North Rockland Soccer Association at 3:30 PM.
