The St. Thomas Aquinas men's soccer team picked up a come from behind 3-2 win in last nights contest against St. Rose.  STAC was down 2-0 before Jorge Mera connected on his second goal for the season at the 25:46 mark.  Konstantinos Sapountzis and Chris Hernandez added goals in the second half to steal the win.

Freshman Daniel Davren assisted on both second half goals; the first coming off a cross from the right side of the field and the second off a long throw in.  Hernandez headed in the long ball for the game winning goal with less then five minutes remaining.  Goal keeper Nicolas Croce recorded four saves for the game including a penalty kick save with under three minutes left in play to secure the win.

STAC moves to 2-4-1 and will be back in action on Wednesday, September 30th as they travel to Goldey-Beacom College.  The Spartans will begin conference play on October 3rd at Molloy.
