The St. Thomas Aquinas men's soccer team beat Queens College, 3-1 to go 2-0 in the ECC.  David Cowpar, Remington Lee and Sean Reily each scored for STAC.  Daniel Davren added an assist.  Andrew Tartara had three saves for the Spartans.

The Knights scored at the 49 minute mark as Jose Aguije, with his back to the goal, fired a shot into the net.  The Spartans came back strong as Cowpar headed in a Davren throw-in just three minutes later.  With ten minutes left in the game Lee connected with a loose ball at the top of the box to give STAC a 2-1 lead.  Riley had a penalty kick shot that deflected off the post and he recovered it and scored.  Reily's goal was the fourth of the season and second in two games.

The Spartans move to 7-0-1 on the season and will travel to Chestnut Hill on Wednesday for a 6:30 PM game.
