The St. Thomas Aquinas men's soccer team lost at Bridgeport, 3-1.  Daniel Davren scored off a penalty kick for his 9th goal of the season.  The Spartans had 8 shots on goal to the Purple Knights 5.

Bridgeport got on the scoreboard first behind a goal from Lee Middleton.  Davren's goal came one minute later to even the score.  The Purple Knights scored once more before the half as Patric Bruden added an unassisted goal.  Tim Stipo scored off an assst from Clayton Ulmer in the second half to give the Purple Knights a 3-1 advantage.  Andrew Tartara recorded 2 saves for the Spartans.

St. Thomas will play the opening round of the playoffs at Bridgeport on Friday, November 5th, at 2:00 p.m.
