Spartans Continue Strong Play, Ranked 4th Regionally

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's soccer team is currently ranked 4th in the East Region with a record of 7-1-4.  STAC dropped out of the National Poll after a tough 1-0 loss against C.W. Post who is ranked #1 in the East Region and 3rd in the Nation.  The Spartans have still received votes Nationally.

Daniel Davren leads the Spartan offense with 6 goals and 6 assists.  Remington Lee has also added 6 goals while Joseph Connolly has chipped in 5.  Sean Reily has scored 4 goals and 3 assists while freshman Jack Legg has scored 2 goals and added an assist. 

The Spartan defense has been very strong this season behind the leadership of senior Kurt Schuler and goal keeper Andrew TartaraRobert Stevens, Edgar Barragan and Ethan Evans have done a solid job limiting opponents shots on goal.  Tartara has recorded 52 saves this season. 

The Spartans will play at Molloy on Saturday before hosting #13 ranked Mercyhurst on Wednesday the 19th.
