Spartans Reached out to Local Youth

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's and women's soccer teams ran a three hour clinic for the local youth of Rockland County.  The event was held at Torne Valley Sports Complex on Friday evening.  The players and coaches ran drills and fun games for kids ages Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Over 200 kids attended the event represented the Suffern and Ramapo school district.

The event organizer was John Martin from the Ramapo Valley Soccer Club and Brian Sullivan a Recreation Coordinator from the Rockland area.  "The college coaches and players did a great job, the kids loved their fun drills and their funny accents were a big hit," commented head coach Graham Brown.  The Spartans have international players from Australia, England, Scotland and Ireland.

"I am proud of our players for their hard work in the classroom and on the field and their dedication to give back to the local youth," remarked Brown.
