Men's Soccer Loses Season Finale to Caldwell, 2-1

The St. Thomas Aquinas College men's soccer team dropped its final game of the 2014 season, a 2-1 non conference setback at Spartan Field. The Spartans end the season with a record of 7-7-3, with Caldwell improving to 12-5-0 with the win.

STAC took and early 1-0 lead just 6:28 into the game on Julius Werner's fifth goal of the season, but Caldwell responded quickly as Martin Djikanovic's marker at 10:30 tied the score.

Despite being outshot by a 15-11 margin for the game, the Cougars found the go-ahead goal in the second half, with Noah Pederson scoring the deciding tally at 53:20. Nicholas Palumbo made three saves for the Spartans with Michael Hartmann turning aside seven for the visitors.
