Quick Goals Send Men's Soccer to 2-0 Defeat at Lock Haven

The St. Thomas Aquinas College men's soccer team fell to a 2-0 decision at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania on Saturday. With the setback, the Spartans fell to 0-2 on the season, dropping their opening road contests. Lock Haven evened it's record at 1-1 with the win.

An even first half took a quick - and decisive - turn when the hosts netted a pair of goals within a five minute span. Troy Arnspacher hit the net at 33:51 to break a scoreless deadlock, and added the game's only other marker at 38:42.

Sean Connolly started and took the loss for St. Thomas Aquinas, which was outshot by a 13-5 margin on the afternoon.

PLEASE NOTE - Tuesday's scheduled Home Opener against East Stroudsburg University has been moved and will now be played on the road. The Spartans will now open their home slate against the University of New Haven on Saturday, September 12, in a 2:00 pm start.
