Luis Morales of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer team was honored on Wednesday with a selection to the 2016 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-America Second Team.
Morales, a sophomore from Port Chester, NY, tallied 15 goals and 1 assist for the Spartans in 14 contests. Luis was second in goals scored in the ECC, and netted five of those via penalty kicks.
Among the many awards and accolades garnered by Morales during the 2016 season, Luis was named ECC Offensive Player of the week twice (9/19 & 10/31), selected to the ECC All-Conference Second Team and was most recently named a D2CCA All-East Region First Team member.
