St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer players Kevon Evans, Alejandro Zuniga, Dimitry Tchantcheu, Calle Olle Petter Gunnarsson, Nicholas Sadorf, Christian Ferlisi, Yahir Hernandez and Dwant Suazo were each named as ECC All-Conference selections on Friday afternoon. Evans, Zuniga and Tchantcheu earned First Team honors, while Gunnarsson received Second Team accolades, and Sadorf, Ferlisi, Hernandez and Suazo garnered Third Team kudos in a vote of the conference's coaches.

Additionally, Kevon Evans was named the ECC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year, Dimitry Tchantcheu takes home ECC Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors and Head Coach Graham Brown was tabbed as the ECC Coach of the Year.

The eight Spartans helped their team capture the programs second ECC Regular Season Championship in the last three seasons, along with the number one seed in postseason tournament. STAC finished the regular season with a 10-2-4 record and a perfect 7-0-1 ECC mark. Top-seeded STAC will meet fourth seeded University of the District of Columbia in the ECC Championship semifinal on Saturday afternoon at Spartan Field.

Kevon Evans (Jr.|Forward|Ossining, N.Y.) - The team leader in both goals (12) and points (32) through 15 contests, Evans was also at the top of the statistical leaderboard for the East Coast Conference. Kevon was selected as the ECC Offensive Player of the Week on September 11 and October 23.

Alejandro Zuniga (Fr.|Midfielder|Naples, Fla.) - Zuniga, the versatile midfielder, posted five goals and lead the team with nine assists for the Spartans in 15 games. He was also the team leader in shots taken with 61 (27 on goal). Alejandro was selected as the ECC Rookie of the Week on October 30.

Dimitry Tchantcheu (RJr.|Back|Beauvais, France) - Tchantcheu, one of the leaders of the Spartans defense corps, registered an assist during the 2023 season, but his steady presence on the backline kept opposing teams to just 16 goals on the year.

Calle Olle Petter Gunnarsson (Fr.|Goalkeeper|Stockholm, Sweden - Gunnarsson, the Spartans starting netminder, has held opponents to two goals or less in 15 straight matches, while posting a 10-0-4 record with a 0.89 goals against average and an .845 save percentage in 16 games played. He has also recorded six shutouts on the year and was named ECC Rookie of the Week on September 30, along with ECC Defensive Player of the Week on October 2, 23 and 30.

Nicholas Sadorf (So.|Forward|Tampa, Fla.) - Sadorf talled six goals, which was second on the squad, along with an assist for 13 points in 12 matches for the Spartans. His offensive abilities, combined with Kevon Evans and Alejandro Zuniga allowed the STAC trio to score 23 of the team's 39 total goals.

Christian Ferlisi (So.|Midfield|Toronto, Ontario Canada) - A key member of the STAC leadership core, Ferlisi played a large role in mentoring many of the new Spartans in their first seasons wearing maroon and gold. His on-field presence and voice is felt by his teammates and opponents alike.

Yahir Hernandez (So.|Midfielder|Yonkers, N.Y.) - Hernandez scored a goal and added two assists over 14 games played for STAC. Yahir's game-winning goal against Queens College on October 18 was the lone tally of the match.

Dwyant Suazo (So.|Back|Carmel, N.Y.) - Starting and playing in all 16 games to date, Suazo has become a critical piece of the backline for the maroon and gold. His quiet demeanor and steady play in only his second season has given the Spartans a lockdown defense, which opponents have not been able to crack.

Graham Brown - The team's sideline general for the past 23 seasons, earns his second Coach of the Year award after guiding the Spartans to the program's second Regular Season Championship and their best record since 2018.
