On Tuesday, St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer players Kevon Evans, Dimitry Tchantcheu and Alejandro Zuniga were each named as a D2CCA All-East Region selections. Evans earned first team honors, while Tchantcheu and Zuniga garnered second team kudos in a vote of the region's College Sports Information and Athletic Communications staffs. 

Evans (Jr.|F|Ossining, N.Y.) led his team in scoring with 12 goals (8 assists) and 32 points, while playing in 16 contests for the maroon and gold. He was named the East Coast Conference's Offensive Player of the Year and an All-Conference First Team selection earlier this month. Kevon was also tabbed the ECC Offensive Player of the Week on both September 11 and October 23.

Tchantcheu (RJr.|B|Beauvais, France) was one of the leaders of the Spartans defense corps, registering an assist in 15 games during the 2023 season, but his steady presence on the backline kept opposing teams to just 17 goals on the year. He was named the East Coast Conference's Co-Defensive Player of the Year and an All-Conference First Team selection earlier this month. Dimitry was also selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on November 21.

Zuniga (Fr.|M|Naples, Fla.) posted five goals and lead the team with nine assists for the Spartans in 16 games, while also racking up a team-leading 65 shots taken, with 30 of those going on goal. He was named an ECC All-Conference First Team selection earlier this month. Additionally, Alejandro was selected as the ECC Rookie of the Week on October 30.

With his selection to the first team, Evans will be on the national ballot for All-American consideration.

St. Thomas Aquinas finished the 2023 campaign with a 10-2-5 overall record and a 7-0-1 ECC mark. The Spartans clinched their second ECC Regular Season Championship in the last three seasons and made it to the semifinal round of the conference tournament.
