
Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer team saw its winless streak reach three matches on Tuesday, as the Spartans suffered a 2-0 shutout loss at the hands of Holy Family University at Spartan Field.
STAC slips to 6-4-2 overall on the year, while Holy Family improves to 3-7-2 on the season.
Sergio Revuelta led the Tigers' offense on the day, tallying a goal in the 11th minute, while also adding an assist on Ned Lewis' goal just moments before in the 10th minute.
Kevon Evans registered a match-high four shots for STAC, with two going on frame. Teammates Jalen Moni, Mika Leue, Francisco Degiorgi, Uhunoma Fredrick-Ilekhuoba, Rafael Capella, Franco Israel and Sebastian Ortega were also able to send shots toward Holy Family keeper Cheikh Diouf (W, 1-3-0), who stopped them all to earn his first shutout victory of the season.
Johan Morales (L, 2-3-2) got the start in net for the maroon and gold and made two saves on four shots, taking the hard luck loss.
