Men's Soccer Blanked By Queens, 4-0

Sparkill, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer team suffered its fifth loss in the last six matches on Sunday afternoon, as Queens College earned a 4-0 shutout victory over the maroon and gold at Spartan Field.

STAC slips to 6-6-3 overall and 1-3-3 in ECC play, while Queens improves 9-4-2 and 6-0-1. The Knights also clinch the 2024 East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Regular Season title with the win over the Spartans.

Harry Cooke scored twice in the match, while Jason Udo and John Morelli also tallied a goal apiece for Queens.

Uhunoma Fredrick-Ilekhuoba, Kevon Evans, Christian Ferlisi, Maziko Jiya and Erik Wikan each posted shots on frame for the Spartans, and saw them all saved by Knights keeper Thanasis Shehadeh (7-0-2) to earn his seventh win in nine tries.

Johan Morales (L, 2-5-3) got the start in net for STAC and made four saves on eight shots.
