Queens, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Tennis team dropped its second straight contest, falling on the road to Queens College 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.
Queens opened the contest, taking taking two out of three doubles matches to pick up the first team point. STAC's lone victory in doubles came via the team of Ludovico Truffelli and Eduard Simo, who got the best of their opponents by the score of 7-6 (7-5).
In singles action, the Knights took four of the six contests to win the team head-to-head matchup. The Spartans victories came at the No. 3 position as Lennart Lehmann beat Lucas Demuth 5-7, 6-4, 10-8 and Odysseas Papaioannou's triumph at No. 4 over Omar El Shehawey 6-4, 5-7, 7-5.
