Don Vinz Lominoque has been named the ECC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, while Henry Ronnberg scores Rookie of the Week honors on Monday, following the Spartans 7-0 shutout victory over the University of the District of Columbia to open ECC play last weekend.

Lominoque (Cebu City, Philippines) won both his doubles and singles matches against UDC. First, Lominoque (and teammate Tobias Fuerschuss) took down Louis Mangeon and Louka Queguiner at #1 doubles, 6-4, before defeating the reigning ECC Player of the Year, Louis Mangeon, at #1 singles 6-4, 6-3.

Meanwhile, Ronnberg (Ahus, Sweden) won both his doubles and singles matches versus the Firebirds. First, Ronnberg (and teammate Seth Newman) took down Mauricio Corty and Oskar Karos at #2 doubles, 6-2, before defeating Oskar Karos at #5 singles 6-0, 6-2.
