
Williamsville, N.Y. - For a second straight day, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Tennis team pitched a 7-0 shutout victory against Daemen University at Miller Tennis Center in Western New York.
Sunday's triumph pushes STAC to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in ECC play, while Daemen falls to 4-11 and 0-2.
The Spartans opened the contest by sweeping all three doubles matches from the Wildcats. No. 3 Nathan Yacar & Alberto Espinosa Navarro shutout Vondin Henderson & Jayven Williamson, 6-0 followed by No. 2 Erik Victor Tauson & Ondrej Sramek beating Rohan Chitanand & Lucas Garcia, 6-2 and finally No. 1 Don Vinz Lominoque & Nagamitsu Kuroda besting Juan Alvarez & Alex Lumanog, 6-3 to take the first team point.
