"We were able to get all twelve players in the match today as all of them have been working hard in practice and have earned playing time."
"I was happy for Mitsu (Kuroda) and Nathan (Yacar) who, when down 5-2, battled and pulled out their doubles match," remarked Rockhill. "Once they began to play more aggressively and serve with greater power and precision, they ran off five games in a row for the win."
"We were a little impatient in spots today in singles play but for the most part, I thought we competed well. I was pleased with Lorenzo (Meschini) as he made the necessary adjustment after losing his first set. He has the potential to make our team strong when he makes himself difficult to beat by making fewer mistakes."
"We have a lot of work to do physically and mentally in the off-season," said Rockhill. "Finding the doubles pairs will likely be a key to our success. In addition, I expect a lot of healthy competition for starting positions."
