"I am pleased that our team continues to do difficult things well," stated Head Coach Dan Rockhill. "They have adopted a "take the stairs" philosophy which came in handy today. We knew Daemen would compete well and make us earn our points. I appreciate how coach Greco leads his program and prepares his team. I am also thankful for the wonderful facility Daemen provided for our indoor play."
"Lorenzo is hitting the ball well," commented Rockhill. "He did not yield a single game before his opponent, who is really good, was forced to retire with an injury. Mitsu is getting more comfortable daily. He is super talented and is implementing a disciplined approach to point construction. I am also happy for Ivan and Nathan who were terrific. They work hard in practice and I am never surprised when they perform well in matches."
