St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Volleyball player Fernando Juarez was named the Off the Block Co-National Libero of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 3-0 victory over Dominican University last week to remain atop the ECC standings.

Juarez (Maywood, Calif.) led all players with a season-high 13 digs in a sweep against the Chargers on March 28. The libero also did not commit an error in the win to help the first-year program extend its first-place lead in the East Coast Conference.

STAC (8-12, 4-1 ECC) closes out regular season play on Saturday, April 13 (2:30 p.m.), when the Spartans host American International College at the Hennessy Center in Blauvelt, N.Y.
