The St. Thomas Aquinas women's softball team lost at Molloy College, 4-3 in game one before the Lions shut them out, 13-0 in game two.  In game one, Jamie McCormick went 3-for-4 while Julie Sosnicki went 2-for-4 with an RBI.  In game two the Molloy defense held the Lady Spartans to just two hits.

Julie Sosnicki's RBI single scored the tying run in the top of the 7th scoring Lauren Navarro.  Navarro and Kim Nowak each reached on singles earlier in the inning.  Molloy scored the game winning run with two outs off a fielding error in the bottom of the inning.  

Molloy used a 10 run 1st inning to keep the Lady Spartans out of reach in a game that ended after 5 innings.  Molloy added two runs in the third and a run in the foiurth.  

STAC will play at Mercy on Friday afternoon.
