The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Dowling College, 8-0 and 15-5.  Julie Sosnicki went 2-for-4 for the day with a run.  Kim Nowak had 2 RBI in game two while Katie Meyers and Brittany Mangan each recorded and RBI. 

In game one, STAC got hits from Sosnicki, Nowak and Lombardo and left 6 stranded.  Sosnicki struck out three batters recording the loss on the mound.

In game two, STAC got off to a strong start with a 4-run 1st inning including RBI's from Brittany Mangan and Kim Nowak.  Nowak reached on a fielder's choice in the 5th recording another RBI as Samantha McDonald scored.  McDonald went 1-for-3 for the game and recorded 1 strike out in 1 inning pitched.  Nowak took the loss striking out 3 in 3 innings.  

STAC will travel to LIU Post on Thursday.
