The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Dowling College, 10-0 and 12-4.  Lauren Navarro, Katie Meyers, Shelby Coyle and Brittany Mangan all had RBI's for STAC in game two.  

In game one, Dowling put together a strong 7-run 1st half taking care of most of their scoring.  STAC had 3 hits and left 3 stranded.  

In game two, STAC scored three runs in the 2nd which was led off by a Samantha McDonald double.  Nikolette Nevola was hit by a pitch and Kim Nowak walked to load the bases.   Coyle also walked, scoring McDonald and a Mangan single brought home Nevola.  Navarro also walked scoring Coyle to give STAC a 3-2 lead.  

Dowling responded quickly tying the game in the 3rd and then went back ahead with a 3-run 4th and sealed the deal with a 5-run 5th.  STAC added a run in the 5th after Julie Sosnicki led off with a single and was sent home on a RBI double from Meyers. 

STAC will host LIU Post on Saturday.
