The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Mercy College, 12-3 and 9-1.  Julie Sosnicki had two hits and two runs for the day.  Samantha McDonald and Nikoleete Nevola each had an RBI for the Lady Spartans.  Katie Meyers went 2-for-3 in game two.  

In game one, Jamie McCormick lead off the 5th with a walk and was advance by a sac fly from Lauren Navvaro.  Sosnicki followed with a single and McCormick scored on an error.  Nevola's sac fly scored Sosnicki and pulled STAC within two.  Mercy followed with a five-run 6th inning and went on to add two more runs in the 7th.  

In game two, Sosnicki lead off the 3rd with a double and was sent home by an RBI single from McDonald.  STAC will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Molloy.
