The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Molloy College, 8-0 and 9-1 on Sunday afternoon.  The game was STAC's final game of the season and the senior day game for Toni Ann Groth and Jamie McCormick.  Sunday's game also represented the final game for head coach Barbara Vano who will retire from coaching after a dedicated 37 years.  

In game one, STAC had 3 hits, one from Samantha McDonald, Julie Sosnicki and Kim Nowak.  Molloy had a strong 7th inning where the scored 4 runs to keep STAC out of reach.  Sosnicki took the loss on the mound.

In game two, Nikolette Nevola and Lauren Navarro each had a hit for STAC.  Molloy put together a 4 run 5th inning and added 3 more runs in the 6th.  Kim Nowak had the loss on the mound.

The Lady Spartans finish their season, 2-36 overall, 1-27 in the ECC.
