The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to NYIT, 10-2 and 5-4.  In game one, Jamie McCormick went 2-for-2 with and RBI scoring Katie Meyers.  Julie Sosnicki had a hit a run and an RBI.  Meyers added an RBI single in game two but STAC's rally fell short.

Meyers went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI; first scoring Lauren Navarro in the 4th and then scoring Nikolette Nevola in the top of the 7th.  Sosnicki was also 2-for-4 and scored a run in the 7th off an RBI from Samantha McDonald.

STAC will return to action on Tuesday against Mercy College.
