The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to LIU Post, 5-1 on Tuesday afternoon.  Brittany Malloy's home run in the first gave STAC their only for the game.  Malloy went 2-for-2 for the game.   The Spartans had 5 hits and left 8 stranded. Kim Nowak picked up the loss on the mound.  

The Pioneers tied the game in the bottom of the first off an RBI single from Melissa Peet.  Catherine Havens 2 RBI home run in the 2nd extended the lead.  

Game two was postponed due to the weather.  The Spartans will host Philadelphia University on Wednesday.
