The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team took the field for the first time this season at cross town rival Dominican College.  The Chargers scored 2 runs off 3 hits to pick up the 2-0 win.  

The Spartans left one stranded after Nikolette Nevola walked in the top of the second.  Taylor Gilligan homered in the 2nd to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead.  Dominican's Shannon Truppi added a run in the 5th.  

Julie Sosnicki had 2 strike outs in the loss.  The Charger's Desiree Joines had 8 strike out in the win.
